Very nicely renovated and well done

Smell pipes - defective shower cubicle The shower head comes straight from the ceiling, the floor of the room sags. The bed is passable if it wasn't for the smell of the old pipes that wafts through the room. The breakfast is functional and nothing to complain about. But honestly: when you come to St. Goar, start looking for a hotel on the other side of the town.

Had booked 1 night Room very dirty sheets full of strange hair, a lot of dust everywhere. Breakfast was good that was the only thing Positive

Not so good! It all started with the shower. There is no hot water!!! Not even after I kindly mentioned it to Mike. Furthermore, the photos speak a clear language. I have already booked several accommodations for the same room price this week by some distance. And they were all worlds better. What a shame!!! My conclusion = not recommended! The most noteworthy was the breakfast and the location right on the Rhine.

If I had been here, it would be okay. I was on the Rhine, about 50m away! Hence 5 stars for the Rhine! 😂

A simple youth hostel offers more comfort. For a solid breakfast. I will not book anymore.

What a great location..mike is a very helpful and friendly guy..the rooms are perfect size...great showers.. St goar is an amazing town..

Super nice owner! The hotel is located directly on the Rhine, the rooms have some views over the Rhine and the vineyards. The hotel is located at the start of the pedestrian area. The rooms are clean, with modern box spring beds, and TV. The Baar invites you to party or linger. The prices are awesome! Drinks are available for little money. Just like the small dishes - delicious and perfect for a "midnight snack". I can only recommend!

The rooms were a great size, the bar were fantastic and alot of fun,the view from rooms were Devine and the services was A1... would stay again..

Really old hotel, cramped rooms. Staff are not very helpful (asked for toilet paper, got told to wait 10 minutes, no help was received half an hour later). I'm giving it a 2 star because the views outside the hotel in St. Goar are amazing

Spacious rooms with heating. Hair dryer in the bathroom available for use.

Hotel caught é past, local food and is what is expected, good option if you have to spend the night

Lovely service.

Past reviews of bed bugs are still a problem at this hotel. Two of them were found in my room crawling on my pillow and one on the wall. Found it very hard to sleep.

The hotel bar is amazing. The rooms have great views facing the Rhine, and on the other side of beautiful small town historic Sante Goar. There were comfortable beds, and the showers had plenty of hot water. All the staff was wonderful, I had a great visit; I did attend on a Contiki night stay so there might have been a bit of special treatment, fair warning. Can't beat having the town so close to explore and see all the incredible sights.

Very nice quaint hotel in St Goar. Beautiful scenery around the hotel/town. The rooms were very clean and had everything you need. The building is very historic as well. It was quiet throughout the night and I felt like I had a great sleep. The bar/food was very good with a friendly staff. Only stayed for one night but would definitely stay here if I'm ever back in town.
